• Smile concern selections — the concerns you select during the discovery flow (e.g., crooked teeth, gaps, discoloration).
• ZIP code / location — used solely to find dentists and orthodontists near you. We do not track or store precise geolocation data.
• Clinic account data — for dental practices that register, we store your practice name, email, NPI number, and subscription status to operate your account.
• Usage analytics — anonymous usage data collected through Vercel Analytics to help us improve the platform.

Image handling

When you use our AI smile scan feature, your photo is processed in real time to generate personalized treatment recommendations. We do not store, save, or retain your images. Your photo is transmitted securely to our AI service for analysis and is discarded immediately after processing. We never use your images for training, marketing, or any other purpose.

Cookies and local storage

We use minimal cookies and browser session storage to maintain your flow progress (e.g., remembering which step you're on if you refresh the page) and to keep clinic accounts signed in. This data is not used for advertising-tracking purposes.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI) — powers our smile analysis and treatment recommendation engine. Images are sent securely for real-time processing and are not retained by Anthropic for model training when accessed via their API.
• Stripe — processes clinic membership subscription payments. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Resend — delivers transactional email, including patient confirmations and provider notifications.
• Vercel Analytics — provides privacy-friendly, anonymous website analytics. No personally identifiable information is collected.
• Google AdSense — may display relevant advertisements. Google's ad services may use cookies to serve ads. See Google's Privacy Policy for details.

How we use your information
